The accursed EXAMS WEEK

Back to old times, of bliss and cheerful laughter, no one was thinking about it. Everyone, playing as children. So, it came. My demons appeared and bothered me for the entire week.

I couldn't use the computer from Thursday till today so I only could struggle and suffer. Sorry about that AGAIN, my few readers (if there's anyone).

Excuses

I'm sorry. Damn you, flu. For the past days, I played Monster Hunter, watched TV and tought about this blog. If anyone reads this, I'm sorry. I will post something tonight.

Elf

Hello readers. Today I'll write about the beautiful ones, the elves.

Elves are mythical creatures that appear in Norse and Celtic mythology. They are described as young people with inhuman beauty and pointed ears and were also immortal or lived for long periods of time.

According to the Norse myth, they live in a superior world/dimension called Alfheim. They were treated as "demi-deities" by the Nordic.

It's also said that they are very good with the bow and at sorcery. Some half-elves appear in ancient tales and in modern cultures.

They have a deep impact in modern culture. Especially in the RPGs and games. I didn't watch any movies talking aabout elves (except Lord of the Rings).

And now, the "Fighting Part"
I would be doomed. Dodging arrows doesn't seems to be easy. The same case with any kind of magic. I would surely lose especially if the elf was a female one. I would be seduced and killed (or not) With the powers of the Demigod of Perversion (my friends gave me this title) ,I would make anything to grab the female's breasts.

I think it would be likely that elves could exist. Being good with the bow? Accurate vision. Sorcery? Hmmm...maybe knowledge.

Yuki Onna

Sorry for that,guys.I won't write about dragons or zombies.Maybe later.Today's monster will be: Yuki Onna

Yuki Onna is a japanese Yokai resembling a beautiful and pale woman walking (or floating) in snowstorms.

According to the myth,they are the spirits of people who died in the snow. They are ruthless in killing unsuspecting mortals. In many stories, they appear to travelers as woman trapped in snowstorms and use their freezing breath to kill them. Other legends say that they lead them astray so they die of exposure. Other legends make Yuki onna much more aggressive. In these stories, she often invade homes,blowing in the door with a gust of wind to kill the residents in their sleep.

In some cases, they fall in love with men, marry them and form families, having children, inclusive. However, the love story always ends in a day of storm or mist, probably when the call of their world becomes stronger.

They have an impact on modern culture, mainly appearing in anime and manga. They appear in some Japanese movies as well.

For a weak one like me, I would not resist the beauty of a Yuki Onna,so...fuck this. I would be dead (maybe not if I have some luck).Furthermore, I prefer Asian girls.

I've never seen a ghost and I believe that the scientists haven't seen one as well. It's an UMB (Unidentified Mysterious Being).But I repeat: There are things that science don't know...

Vampire

The vampires are night creatures that feed on human blood.They are very agile and strong and may have some unusual abilities (hypnosis,psionic abilities,transforming on a bat)

The notion of vampirism has existed for millennia.Many cultures had tales about demons who are precursors to the modern day vampires.

In most cases, vampires are revenants of evil beings, suicide victims, or witches, but they can also be created by a malevolent spirit possessing a corpse or by being bitten by a vampire.

They have some weaknesses.Holy water,garlic,fire,holy grounds (church or something like this),daylight are some of their weaknesses.Without these,is nearly impossible to kill a vampire.

It wouldn't be good to see one of these at night (it would probably see you first).As stated in the first paragraph,they may have psionic abilities.It can easily kill many humans.For a normal person like me,it seems impossible to kill it as I'm not catholic and because of that,I don't have any crucifixes.

Who knows a branch of the evolutionary tree of the Homo sapiens could create one of these. Feeding on blood is not impossible,but shapeshifting is not so likely according to the science.Burning in sunlight because of the absence of melanin is likely,but garlic and crucifixes would not drive a creature like this away.After some research,I concluded that vampires are not plausible according to science.

Werewolf

This post will talk about the famous werewolf.It's feared by the "rednecks" of my country.One of my favorites.

The werewolves are men who can shapeshift into a wolf or in an anthropomorphic wolf.They transform in the full-moon period and are very dangerous.Some say that they have a weakness to silver and fire.They are very strong and agile and can easily kill humans or other beings.

The whole story started in ancient Greece.There was a king named Lycaon that served some human meat just because he wanted to know if Zeus was really a god.Zeus noticed that the meat he was consuming was human's and punished Lycaon,making him take the form of a wolf.

After this,many folks had their version.They appear in the mythology of many european countries.In the Dark Ages of Europe,they were considered demons or the embodiment of Satan himself.

The werewolf appears in many modern culture games,books,TV shows and movies,but Twilight messed up with them (and with the vampires too).

It must be really frightening the sight of a werewolf.Killing it without fire weapons seems impossible.I think that a grenade could end the fight.Even with fire weapons it would be difficult,as it would jump an dodge the bullets.

After some research I concluded that the werewolf is not plausible according to science.A man transforming in a wolf is impossible,but more than one time and reverting to human form?I hope that it really doesn't exists.There are things that science don't know...
